Maulana Ahsan Raza Khan, senior-most cleric at Ala Hazrat Dargah in Bareilly, has asked people to go "straight" to their homes and businesses after Friday prayers. "Don't fall for provocations. Maintain peace," he stated. His remarks come after violence erupted in the city last week amid 'I Love Muhammad' row. Around 10 FIRs were registered after the violence.
