Italy's Deputy PM Matteo Salvini criticised French President Emmanuel Macron after he floated the idea that a few thousand troops from EU countries be sent to Ukraine's strategic locations amid its war with Russia. "Hop on a tram and go to Ukraine yourself...Put on a helmet and go," Salvini responded. Salvini's comments led to France summoning the Italian Ambassador.
