Spot prices of gold and silver fell below key milestones as spot gold dipped below $4,000/ounce and spot silver dropped below $46/ounce in internal markets. This comes as demand for the precious metals as safe havens dropped amid optimism linked to a potential US-China trade deal. Gold and silver futures in India also dipped to ₹1,20,820/10grams and ₹1,43,282/kg, respectively.
