Gold prices jumped by ₹1,000 to surge to their all-time high of ₹1,31,800 per 10 grams in Delhi on Wednesday, according to the All India Sarafa Association. However, silver prices retreated from the record levels, plunging by ₹3,000 to ₹1,82,000 per kg. In the international markets, spot gold rose to hit a lifetime high of $4,218.32 per ounce.
