The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) received an email threatening to 'blow up' the Golden Temple with 'RDX', Amritsar MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla posted on X, and Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar confirmed. Following the threat, the security at the shrine was tightened. A bomb disposal squad was deployed, and additional police personnel were stationed at the temple complex.
