Google has launched a new experimental app for Windows PCs that adds a Spotlight-like search bar to your desktop. The tool, now available through Google Labs, is said to make finding files, apps, and web results faster without breaking your workflow. The app works with a simple keyboard shortcut: press Alt + Space to pull up the search bar.
