Google Cloud has appointed Indian-origin Karthik Narain as its first Chief Product and Business Officer, CEO Thomas Kurian announced on Tuesday. Narain will lead product and engineering teams across cloud, developer, data and applied AI and will work closely with Google Public Sector. "This is an incredible opportunity to combine my expertise in engineering and product strategy," Narain said.
