Google Maps is reportedly testing a new power-saving mode for Android devices to reduce battery consumption during navigation. The feature, still in testing, may automatically activate when the battery is low or under system battery saver mode, reports claimed. While not yet confirmed by Google, it could soon enhance energy efficiency and usability for frequent Maps users.
