Google will launch an AI-powered age detection tool to protect users under 18 by limiting access to certain features, ads, and apps on its platforms/products. The feature will be initially tested on a small group of users in US. In case a user is wrongly flagged as underage, they can correct it by uploading a photo of their government ID.
