Shantanu Mukherjee, grandson of Bengali revolutionary Gopal Mukherjee, moved Calcutta High Court seeking stay on 'The Bengal Files' release. He aims to prevent the misuse of his grandfather's name and identity in the film, calling his portrayal in the film "ghastly" and "dishonourable". The matter will be heard by Justice Amrita Sinha on Monday (September 8), reported The Indian Express.
