Speaking about the death of three Afghan cricketers, Kabeer, Sibghatullah, and Haroon, Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesperson Sayed Naseem Sadaat said, "We [have] got clear evidence that...attack was done by Pakistan ." They were allegedly killed in a Pakistani airstrike in Paktika province. After the attack, ACB withdrew national team from upcoming Tri-Nation T20I series involving Pakistan.
