The Union Government will invest ₹211 crore under the Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS) to boost India’s private space sector. Announced by Piyush Goyal, the initiative aims to strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship, and global competitiveness, complementing schemes like Antariksh VC Fund and IN-SPACe, as India targets a $44 billion space economy by 2033.
