The Union Cabinet approved six major initiatives on Thursday. These include four multitracking projects covering 13 districts across Maharashtra, MP, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and Jharkhand, increasing the existing network of Indian Railways by about 574 km. The cabinet also approved the allocation of ₹6,520 crore and an additional allocation of ₹1,920 crore for the PM Kisan Sampada Yojana.
