Aviation regulator DGCA asked IndiGo to end its aircraft lease agreement with Turkish Airlines, weeks after Turkish firm Celebi's contracts with Indian airports were revoked over national security concerns. To avoid passenger inconvenience, DGCA granted a three-month period to IndiGo to stop using the two aircraft it leased from Turkish Airlines. IndiGo had sought a six-month agreement extension.
