Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) has cleared various proposals costing a total of ₹67,000 crore, to enhance operational capability of the three armed forces. Thermal Imager-based Driver Night Sight for BMP combat machines will be procured for the Army. Navy will get BrahMos Fire Control System & Launchers while Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) drones will be procured for the tri-services.
