The Cabinet on Wednesday approved PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana for a period of six years with an annual outlay of ₹24,000 crore, beginning with 2025-26. The scheme aims to develop 100 agriculture-focused districts by integrating 36 existing schemes under 11 central ministries. The districts will be identified based on- low productivity, low cropping intensity, and less credit disbursement.
