Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said the government is examining proposals to bring certain relief measures to increase production in Special Economic Zones (SEZs). The ministry is looking at ways to promote excess capacities in these zones for use in the domestic market in India, he added. "If it needs amendment in law…it can be done through rules," he added.
