The Centre has extended the special registration drive for PM Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) till August 15. The scheme offers ₹5,000 to ₹6,000 in cash support to pregnant and lactating women. Over 4.05 crore women have benefitted so far. The drive aims to boost enrolment and improve maternal and child health nationwide.
