Talking about violent protests in Ladakh which resulted in the death of four people, activist Sonam Wangchuk said the Centre "had five years to listen to peaceful protests". He stated that leaders in Ladakh were not happy with his peaceful protests and told him that they were not working. The protesters are demanding statehood for the region.
