Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) slammed climate activist Sonam Wangchuk, saying he "incited" the mob in Ladakh through his "provocative statements" and references to "Arab Spring-style protest" and Nepal Gen Z protests. MHA said Wangchuk ended his hunger strike amid violence and left for his village, without trying to "control the situation". At least four people were killed amid protests.
