Government made it mandatory for beneficiaries under National Action Plan for Skill Development of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) to furnish their Aadhaar number to receive scheme benefits. It further clarified that no eligible child would be denied benefits due to the lack of Aadhaar or authentication failure. In absence of Aadhaar number, eligible individual must apply for enrollment.
