All government and semi-government offices in Mumbai will remain closed today, while private offices have been requested to instruct their employees to work from home amid heavy rains in Mumbai, BMC announced on Tuesday. Notably, a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall has been issued in Mumbai for today after the city recorded around a month's rainfall in three days.
