Ministry of External Affairs has clarified after backlash over a ban on women journalists at the press conference of Afghan Taliban minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in Delhi. It said the government had "no involvement" in Muttaqi's press conference held on Friday. Many politicians, criticised the ban, with Congress leader P Chidambaram saying male journalists should've "walked out" from the presser.
