Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's start-up accelerator platform WaveX will establish seven new incubation centres across India. These centres will support startups in animation, visual effects, gaming, comics (AVGC), and extended reality (XR). These centres will be located at five campuses of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, along with FTII in Pune and SRFTI in Kolkata.
