The government may allocate ₹2,000 crore to support an additional ₹20,000 crore Credit Guarantee Scheme for Exporters announced earlier by Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Narendra Modi, PTI reported. A panel will be constituted to oversee and monitor the implementation of the expanded scheme. The funds could be provided through supplementary demands for grants after the Parliament approves it.
