Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that a "national counter-terrorism policy and strategy" will be implemented soon. He emphasised the need for a unified approach to combat "terrorists and their ecosystem". He said, "The terrorist attacks and their conspiracy are against us in a borderless and invisible manner...our young officers will have to be equipped with the highest technology."
