French midfielder Grace Geyoro has become the most expensive woman footballer in history. Geyoro has been signed by London City Lionesses from PSG for a record transfer fee of $1.89 million (₹16.66 crore). The fee paid by London City Lionesses overtakes $1.5 million (₹13.22 crore) paid by NWSL team Orlando Pride for Mexico international Lizbeth Ovalle last month.
