GRAP-2 anti-pollution restrictions were imposed in Delhi-NCR as pollution levels rose a day before Diwali on Sunday. Delhi recorded an AQI of 302 on Sunday, which comes under the 'Very Poor' air quality. Stage 2 of GRAP focuses on controlling pollution by banning diesel generators (except for emergencies), increasing parking fees, banning coal and firewood use, and intensifying road cleaning.
