Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has hit out at the National Film Awards 2025 jury for honouring Sudipto Sen's 'The Kerala Story' with two awards. He alleged that the film based on religious conversions, "spreads blatant misinformation" to 'sow communal hatred'. "Kerala...that has always stood as a beacon of harmony...against communal forces, has been gravely insulted by this decision," he added.
