Group of Ministers (GoM) on GST rate rationalisation has accepted Centre's proposal to reduce GST slabs from the current four to two slabs, at 5% and 18%. Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, who heads the GoM, said the proposal will scrap the 12% and 28% slabs. A special GST slab of 40% will be applicable for luxury and 'sin' products.
