The Geological Survey of India began its two-day conference on 'Critical Minerals: Exploration and Exploitation' in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh from August 7–8 as part of its 175th Foundation Year. Inaugurated by Prof Rajesh Kumar Verma and Asit Saha, the event gathered experts to discuss exploration, sustainable mining, policy reforms, and collaboration for boosting India’s mineral self-reliance.
