Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has issued an advisory asking taxpayers to update their bank account details on the portal at the earliest. Non-compliance could lead to suspension of GST registration, disruption of business operations, invoicing, and tax filings. The mandate applies to all taxpayers except those registered under TCS, TDS, or those registered suo motu by tax authorities.
