India's gross Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection for September 2025 rose to ₹1.89 lakh crore, according to government data. This is a 9.1% YoY growth from ₹1.73 lakh crore collected in September 2024. In August 2025, GST collections grew 6.5% YoY to ₹1.86 lakh crore. This comes days after the new GST reforms came into effect on September 22.
