GST collections rose to ₹1.85 lakh crore in June, recording a YoY 6.2% increase. However, the collections were lower than the ₹2 lakh crore mark that was recorded in the first two months of FY26. Over the past five years, GST collections have doubled, hitting a record ₹22.08 lakh crore in FY25, representing a 9.4% growth compared to FY24.
