The next-generation GST reforms announced by the PM Narendra Modi government will support the growth of India's rapidly growing drone ecosystem, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said on Tuesday. Earlier, drones attracted 18% GST with cameras and 28% for personal use. Now, all drones have a uniform 5% GST, aiming to boost a safe and globally competitive drone ecosystem.
