The Global Trade Research Initiative has asked India to prioritise securing a US rollback of the additional "Russian oil" tariff, saying it would halve the effective duty on Indian exports and help labour-intensive sectors. It also urged the government to quickly operationalise the Export Promotion Mission, noting that key support schemes remain stalled this fiscal.
