Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel reached Asarwa Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad after an Air India plane carrying 242 people crashed. Patel was accompanied by Gujarat's Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi. The London-bound flight crashed into a doctors' hostel building in Meghani Nagar shortly after takeoff.
