As part of its CSR initiative, a watch manufacturing company, in partnership with National Agro Foundation, has rejuvenated Gunduperumbedu Lake in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu — a water body that had remained neglected for close to 15 years. The rejuvenation included removal of 1.05 lakh cubic metres of silt, strengthening of bunds and construction of 435 metres of toe wall.
