The Supreme Court said Governors should give assent to bills in a "reasonable time". The top court stated that fixing timeline for President and Governors is risky and will result in a lot of litigations. The court made these remarks while hearing reference made by President Droupadi Murmu after SC fixed time limits to act on bills.
