India’s IT industry body NASSCOM said that Indian IT firms are unlikely to be hit hard by US President Donald Trump's decision to hike the H-1B visa fee. "Over the years, Indian and India-centric companies operating in the US have significantly reduced their dependencies on H-1B visas and steadily increased their local hiring," the body added in a statement.
