There are going to be a "significant number of changes" in the H-1B professional visa process before the revised fee of $100,000 comes into effect from February 2026, US President Donald Trump's aide Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said. He said the current visa process is "just wrong" as it allows "inexpensive" tech consultants to enter US along with their families.
