Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday said he had a "productive conversation" with US President Donald Trump, which focussed on ending the ongoing war in his country as well as strengthening US-Ukraine coordination. The conversation came ahead of US envoy Steve Witkoff's proposed visit to Russia and the August 8 deadline set by Trump for Moscow to announce a ceasefire.
