Haier Appliances India is investing ₹1,000 crore to expand its manufacturing capabilities and boost domestic production. The company plans to scale output from 1.5 million to 4 million units a year, build a new AC plant, localize components like PCBs, and create around 3,500 jobs, strengthening ‘Make in India’ and reducing import dependence.
