Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has faced scrutiny from the Indian Air Force over delays in the Tejas Mk-1 fighter jet program. Today, it finally received the long-awaited third GE404 engine for the LCA Mk-1A. Another engine is expected by the end of September, with a total of 12 slated for delivery before the financial year ends.
