Israel has claimed that documents recovered by its forces in Gaza prove for the first time Hamas' "direct involvement" in funding the Global Sumud Flotilla - the Gaza-bound aid ships - intercepted by Israeli forces. Israel said papers discovered in Gaza linked the flotilla to Palestinian Conference for Palestinians (PCPA). PCPA functions as Hamas' representative body abroad, Israel added.
