US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Gaza will be demilitarised and that Hamas won't have any role in governing a future Gaza. He added that UNRWA can't distribute aid in Gaza, calling it "a subsidiary of Hamas". Rubio also called Israel's parliamentary vote in favour of annexing the occupied West Bank "a threat to the peace process" in Gaza.
