During the semi-final of the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, Vidarbha left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey overtook India legend Bishan Singh Bedi on the list for most wickets in a single season of the competition. Dubey's 66 wickets saw him go past Bedi's 64 wickets in 1974-75. Only Ashutosh Aman (68 in 2018-19) and Jaydev Unadkat (67 in 2019-20) are ahead of him.
