Researchers at Harvard University have flagged 10 college majors including business, computer science, mechanical engineering, accounting, psychology, humanities disciplines as having declining long-term returns due to rapid technological change, automation and shifting employer demands. Employers are favouring demonstrable skills over broad degrees, increasing the need for continuous upskilling.
