The central government has granted Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi a one-year extension. Rastogi, a 1990-batch Haryana IAS officer, who was due to retire on June 30, will continue to hold the charge of chief secretary till June 30, 2026. He was appointed as chief secretary in February this year after former chief secretary Vivek Joshi became Election Commissioner.
