Children in the 0-5 age group in Haryana have reported a higher rate of stunting (low height-for-age) and wasting (low weight-for-height) compared to Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. According to data shared by Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Savitri Thakur, in response to a question in Rajya Sabha, a high percentage of children are also classified as underweight.
